Your Rural Veterinary
Clinic in Cameron, MO

Veterinary Care Rooted in Tradition.

Guided by Compassion.

A Bar S Veterinary Clinic reflects the heart of Northwest Missouri: a strong agricultural heritage, close-knit communities, and a deep respect for the animals that are part of our lives. We’re proud to care for the pets, horses, show animals, and livestock that support the families and farms in our community.

Community-Minded

Veterinary medicine is about more than caring for animals. It’s about being present for the people who trust us with them. We’re honored to support our neighbors, celebrate their milestones, and be there through the challenges that come with caring for animals.

Centered on Kindness

We understand that veterinary visits can bring uncertainty and concern. Our goal is to create a welcoming experience where every client feels heard, respected, and confident in the care their animals receive.

Committed to Lifelong Learning

Veterinary medicine is always evolving, and we’re committed to continuing education and growth so we can provide thoughtful, practical care that meets the needs of every animal we serve.

For Our Cameron Community

Our Clinic Policies

To help us keep our clinic running smoothly and provide the best possible care for every patient, we ask that you review our standard policies.

Payment is Due at the Time of Service

To maintain our high standards of care and keep our operations dependable, we require full payment when services are provided.

Pre-Surgery Exam Requirements

For the safety of your animal, we require an exam prior to the day of surgery for all new patients. This ensures Dr. Silvey develops a patient-client relationship under Missouri law, and it also allows her to assess the health status of your pet prior to any procedures requiring general anesthesia. This helps us plan for a successful outcome.
