Dr. Ashley Silvey is proud to serve Northwest Missouri as a mixed-animal veterinarian with deep roots in rural life and agriculture. Her journey to veterinary medicine was shaped by a lifelong love of animals, a background in human healthcare, and a desire to serve the families and communities of rural northwest Missouri.

Rooted in Family. Grounded in Rural Life.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Silvey is often found on her family farm near Hamilton, Missouri, where she and her husband, John, raise their two sons and continue their family’s agricultural traditions.
A Lifelong Commitment to Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Silvey hopes A Bar S Veterinary Clinic will always be a place where people feel welcomed, respected, and supported. She believes healthy animals contribute to healthy families, healthy farms, healthy communities, and a safe food supply. Her goal is not only to provide excellent veterinary care, but also to continue learning, serve her community, encourage future veterinary professionals, and strengthen rural medicine for generations to come.
